33 years (part 1)

33 years young
and just startin’ to learn
life is more than drankin’ liquor
and the money I earn

I reminisce on thousand 6
I had money to burn
Lived my life like I was wishin’
To end up in an urn

Wasn’t thinkin’ bout the
Consequences livin’ my life
Wasn’t thinkin’ bout how
I was hurtin' my daughter and my wife

Me and my cousin' playin' dice
Putting doves on the yo
Lost some people in my life
Who wasn’t feelin’ me though

Smokin’ all that marijuana
It was killin’ me slow
Drankin Hennessey and coke
While I was hittin’ the dro’

So concerned about the 6
That I neglected the 4
Consequently I got some demons
Got to answer for those

Got some secrets in my life
And I ain’t telling a soul
and if that means my heart is heavy
then cuzzin’ let it be so

I asked the father to forgive me
So I completed my soul
All that and im only
33 years old

Another good write Loanslanger. You definitely have a gift. You're teaching lessons in the very best way their is to teach. By your own experience, you can never help people if you haven't walked a mile in their shoes.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
