    9/11

    A look, a glance...
    the chill runs deep.
    Al-Qaida man?
    Our troubled sleep!

    A glance, A stare...
    Her child is bleeding.
    Half just watch his
    Mother's pleading.

    A stare, a glint...
    The hatred's deep!
    Are we safe...does
    fox have the sheep?

    A glint, a storm...
    their hands are red.
    Mother just weeps,
    her child is dead!

    A storm, A scar...
    Hight price to pay.
    Our Father weeps
    both night and day.

    A scar so deep...
    We're all maddened!
    Uncle's at war with
    Osama Bin Laden.

I love your poem! I really am fond of how you present it and how you convey so much into a so realtively few words! Very nice!

Wow. thank you so much! Actually I was quite emotional at that moment in time. I always wondered if the metaphores were a bit overdone...you know we are our own worst crytics anyway :) Appreciate your comment!

    Thank you very much

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
