A Birthday Wish For A Special Person
There have been many friends who have come and gone,
There have been people who have used me all along,
Only here for a time and then vanish from sight,
Only wanting to play as if they ever had the right,
But -never- did I think when I was so afraid,
I would find someone as amazing as you and someone who would always stay,
Being blessed to have you in my life,
is like being in a dark room with only a small light,
I was scared of the dark and I was scared of the shadows,
but then you came in, rescued me, being the light that I so dearly needed,
you gave me a reason to fight for the cherished days of this life,
You told me that its worth the time and patience and not give up the fight,
I've been given an angel; a guardian to keep me safe,
I've been blessed with a best friend who will always keep me sane,
You mean more to me then any other man,
More then life itself and more then words can express,
At the end of the day and at the end of everything,
It will all come down to this: I cannot -not- have you in my life,
you are my guardian angel and my Favorite,
my brother and my best friend,
I did not know that on this day 20 long years ago,
An angel would be born with a wonderful and powerful soul,
I am thankful to whatever gods or goddesses there is,
that they placed you in my life where my shattered and torn heart is,
because of you my heart has mended,
and because of you my soul soars higher without being bended,
So now as you are celebrating your 20th birthday,
Know that no matter if you are not special to yourself,
or it seems that you shouldn't be special to anyone else,
Know that you are more then special to me,
You are a dream come true for me,
I love you Favorite, always and forever,
