    a black and white day

    A black and white day
No beautiful sunrise shining in your eyes nor brightening up your day.

Autumn not the same but dull without fluorescents.

Rainstorms leave the rainbows come lacking brightness.

Not being able to enjoy your loves color filled eyes.

Not seeing the reflection of the sun in the pond creating glistening shadows of light.

Looking out your window in the mid morning not seeing the dark green grass.

The little girls Rosie cheeks brightening up from laughter.

Happiness not the same on a black and white day,
Enjoying the simple things impossible on a black and white day.

Oh what an impact a black and white day would have on the lives of earth’s beings.

While you are stunningly descriptive and are a much better writer than I was at your age, I am disatisfied with how you concluded this one. I found myself wanting to hear more than "Oh what an impact a black and white day would have on the lives of earth's beings." because I am still hypnotized by "Not seeing the reflection of the sun in the pond creating glistening shadows of light.". This is truly a great work, but I felt the conclusion was a bit forced. Still, like I said, you are already a much better writer than I was at your age. I am in awe and I hope you consider giving my own writing some constructive criticism. Serzi

If we could look past our obligations and let ourselves to live without limitations, I think we would have alot less of those black and white days. Good Point and great understanding.

    beautiful poem

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
