    Poem Commentary

    I often wish to live in books, so this is the first time Ive seen the other side of things...

    A Bookish Life

     If I lived inside a book,
    how sweet my life would be.
    My life would soon be filled
    with adventurous journeys. 

    If I roamed on written pages,
    how wondrous my life would be.
    My days would be filled up with
    endless possibilities.

    If I walked between the lines
    what a romantic life I would lead
    As many boys as I could conjure
    with unlimited prosperity.

    If my life were different chapters,
    how uncomplicated my life would be.
    If I didn't like what was to happen
    I just wouldn't read.

    But then my life would cease to happen
    how unfortunate for me,
    So I'm glad my life isn't simply
    pages turning in the breeze.

    nice how you kept the whole thing on track with the theme. you played around with all the possiblities a book can give you and made it significant to your life. thats beautiful. you should be proud of this poem. keep writing and you could be one of the greats. don't ever stop.
