    A Broken Heart
    Lost with these lonely tears.
    I whisper and muter fears.
    An entire family lost to a disease.
    I ask God and pray please....
    Do not take my daughter by your guiding light.
    Do not take my son as He journeys into the flight.
    Do not take a grandchild from my soul next...
    Stricken by lupus my eternal love could be hexed.
    Was my journey so wrong to be hurt by this curse.?
    Oh my God have Mercy;Why pick me?
    Gods voice heard in Mercy.....
    "Child;Dear sweet child, I've picked you for your Love.
    You have whispered in my ear;seeking me from above.
    I'm taking them for they are chosen from an angel made of gold.
    For your prepared arrival when it time and you are so old.
    For I too love the treasures you have buried in your time.
    Heaven is a place of grace that you have given in your prime.
    I see your heart oh so broken ;yet you hold the keys
    Bless you child don't rebel,for hope sits and faith is upon your knees.
    Take this blessing that you know, mend your heart so it will grow.  Suffer no more for their pain will be gone you know.
    We gave you a Broken Heart for you are strong.
    It was never a thing or human mistake you did wrong."

    I think this poem how wonderful imagery. It is full of hope and love. I like the acceptence of what is instead of the bitter hate so many fuel when their hearts are broken. It is a strong and beautiful piece.

    This one's amazingly heartfelt. Great work, It never gets any easier to lose the ones you love. I thought for the longest time that, if I'd never asked god for my Best friend, He Might still be alive. The last verse got me... This is a GREAT poem. All the best -Marion-

    This is a beautiful poignant conversation with God about all but unbearable tragedy... and yet: "you hold the keys...hope sits and faith is on your knees."...the pain is gone... a broken heart for you are strong...never a thing...you did wrong". You're wisdom earns a 10 in my book,
