    A Broken Past

     Following a chaotic dream through the depths of an eternal waking battle.

    Listening to my heart take one more beat in an effort to enhance a slowly building haze.

    Silence comes and goes but never overcomes the clouded reacurring memories.

    Times aids the self induced torture of a lover's goodbye.

    Afterthoughts, hopes, and a once unyeilding faith begin to vanish.

    A soul burdened by grief stricken shadows from a slowly fading past finally heals.
