    Yes I know this poem isn't one of my best. But I wrote after reading a full history on the IRA, it made me more conscice of my Irish roots. Even though I'm only like 1/16, I'm still proud of the fact that I have Irish blood in me.

    A Celtic Frost: The IRA Fight Song

    A Celtic frost

    Sets in over the bleeding, oppressed

    Irish hearts

     

    The rebellion was once quieted

    By the deaths of a million Irish souls

     

    But here we are

    They can try to breed us away,

    To kill us off

    But they can’t kill our

    Queen Ireland or the Irish spirit

     

    They’re in store for a life lesson

    NEVER MESS WITH THE IRISH!

     

    WE’LL FIGHT! FIGHT!, FIGHT!

    For our home

    For our love

    For our Queen

    Ireland

     

    Long live the IRA

    Me Irish Eyes Are Smiling-reading this!-Im Irish!Nearly full actually.My Mother is full Irish,and my Father was half Irish/half Italian.-So,I hold this poem dear to me irish heart-LOL!I loved the feeling you brought out,the pride that stood and screamed in this work!Lovin this fully!!-Well,from one Lass to another-thanx for a great write...again.

    Thanx! I know techncal stand point not my best but still , after reading the book----I don't know I just wanted to learn about the irish in me. Hey if you like this and tou use I-tunes check out The Irish Rebellion Album, I found it a couple years ago, when helping a friend with a , report on his Irish heritage. It's got some realy great stuff, & I'm like in love with Tommy Dempsey's vocals
