    A Cold December

    Beginning of December
    Cold lonely nights
    Off in the distance
    Burn the hot city lights
    Your words are cold and sharp
    They cut me very deep
    What of the love I gave you
    The love you swore to keep
    I mourn because death is death
    Be it lost life or love
    One day your love was gone
    Along with all that I dreamed of
    All my life and dreams
    That I worked so hard towards
    You just broke into little pieces
    And kept the best for yours
    Here is the end of December
    A month filled with cold lonely nights
    I can see off in the distance
    Your beginning your new life
