    A Daughters Love

You said you would always be here.
I never thought you would leave.
My eyes have cried so many tears.
You taught us all to just believe.

A daughters love is like no other.
A daughters love grows so strong.
A daughters love lasts a lifetime.
A daughters love can do no wrong.

Even though your gone your still here.
In my dreams I see your smile.
When we talked I'd have your ear.
For me you went that extra mile.

A daughters love is like no other.
A daughters love grows so strong.
A daughters love lasts a lifetime.
A daughters love can do no wrong.

Seems to be a real hard ending.
A mom like you no hearts shall break.
Tears of sorrow in the beginning.
But tears of joy when I awake.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
