A Description of Friendship
I am accepted from others as seeing a camel in the arid desert of Antarctica.
I have special friends who would acknowledge me
But, they make it feel after I jaywalk across street to see them.
They seem to disregard me, as I should with the streetlights as I cross that busy street.
They may have only met to say “Hello” when I was across that street.
I have fewer better friends
But, it is harder for me to explain as to why we are friends.
They are the same friends who had invited me to their wedding
But, it would beif our friendship was established well before that time.
These friends would at least invite me to their house if not only their wedding
But, the best are the ones who have done both before their wedding.
There are other some friends who try to establish a friendship out of pity or love
But, it is sometimes hard to say who is serving the pity and love.
Foolish am I to know who loves me
But, most of those lovers might only display a friendship that is most desired.
They make me less cold than smoking a camel
And, they are less hot as Antarctica on a summer’s night.
