    The past is passed, the future unsure, but the present is a Gift from God.

    A Gift

    Every day is a gift from God,
    Every moment a second chance,
    To do the right instead of wrong
    To waste no time, but join the dance

    Every time you speak to a friend
    About the things that you both face
    Is an opportunity to soar
    Above the storm and join the race

    Each word spoken, each line you write
    To strengthen someone in distress
    These are gifts from God you see
    You are HIS voice while in this place

    Every day is a gift from God
    Even when it's dark and cold
    The words you've said can be their warmth
    As they see God in what you've told

    I like the moral to this poem. It reminds me of the verse, for evil to thrive the good need do nothing.

    words of wisdom this is so true so often in this life we see so much bad we forget the good and life itself is a gift from god
