    A Giver

    Trying to fill
    That empty hole inside
    Is like being
    On a roller coaster ride

     Running like crazy
    At everything you see
    Never taking time
    To get down on your knees

     Searching and searching
    For something in this world
    Looking for that one
    Pure peaceful pearl

     Trying to keep your thoughts
    On a level playing field
    Trying to stay ahead
    Of the bad that you feel

     Always giving into
    Temptation and sin
    Makes you realize
    You will never win

    Then you find yourself
    Trying to buy love
    No matter how hard you try
    You can never buy enough

     Everything within us
    Wants to feel love
    Its something most people
    Just never think of

     Everyone and everything
    Making it hard to deliver
    It wears on you hard
    When you’ve been called
