A Great Hill

A Great Hill

A Great Hill

I walked out to my Garden where life first sprang forth.

My eyes survey its grand majesty.

In the midst of it all, is my fountain.

Look at it Tall, Handsome, Strong;

It is my rock, my foundation.

It bring me life’s water,

it makes my garden grow.

In my garden is life;

And many a storm has passed through.

Strong winds,

 driving rains,

 thunder and lighting.

And yet, there stands my fountain.

Years of storms pass,

a lose pebble here,

a broken stone there;

but there he stands strong.

Today I walked out to my garden,

where is He?

He was down upon the Earth.

I cried to the Lord, my God,

what shall I do!

all of my treasure gets life from this Water.

Many of my tears fell.

and as the last one touched my cheek,

and my eyes lifted to the Lord;

A new Spring came from the Earth,

New existence;

You see the Garden is life Everlasting.

Spiritual, candid, and gloriously natural. I enjoyed your poem very much. Ginga

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
