A guy.
Met a guy,
Who changed my world.
He hurt me bad.
So I went for a drive.
I was sitting outside your driveway,
When your girlfriend backed up.
She hit the front,
She totaled my car.
Your heard the noise,
And came to see.
When you say it was me
You started to cry.
She wasn't hurt,
And you didn't talk to her.
When you say me leaving in the ambulance,
For I was your true love,
The girl that was hurt.
The doctors don't know if I'll walk again,
For that night they said,
You said you loved me.
I came home to you sitting in my house.
You didn't believe when I said,
That the doctors didn't know,
If I would ever walk again.
You worked with me,
I couldn't move for four years,
But you still worked with me.
You didn't want to see me not walk.
After all you helped,
Over the last four and a half years,
I can walk.
Thanks to you.
Who changed my world.
He hurt me bad.
So I went for a drive.
I was sitting outside your driveway,
When your girlfriend backed up.
She hit the front,
She totaled my car.
Your heard the noise,
And came to see.
When you say it was me
You started to cry.

And you didn't talk to her.
When you say me leaving in the ambulance,
For I was your true love,
The girl that was hurt.

For that night they said,
You said you loved me.

But you still worked with me.

Over the last four and a half years,

Thanks to you.
