    a POEM FOR A FRIEND WHOSE GRANDMOTHER DIED IN nOVEMBER 2005.

    A LAST GOODBYE

    Just a whisper from the angels
    As they bore her spirit home
    Kissed her cheeks and held her hand
    Told her she wouldn't be alone

    Go ahead mourn and miss her
    It is quite all right to weep
    I the Lord thy God have blessed her
    She's forever mine to keep

    Brave Melissa seek my comfort
    know my face it's in your prayers
    I have taken charge of Mary
    She's forever in my care.

    Gentle and comforting words. I am in Los Angeles CA visiting my son. I thought of you, knowing you are from LA.and thought I would come and read some of your work. I enjoyed this. It is beautifully written.

    This is beautiful! The confort of this poem helps me through the pain of myself. I must admit, that when I cry, I feel as though I am weak... However, this makes me feel less weak about crying, because it is okay to cry over something natural to cry over.

    You know people such as yourself have made me feel really good about this poem. I hesitated giving it to her for a long time because I was afraid she would be offended. Thank you for the nice comment, and by the way tears are not a weakness but a great inner strength showing our capacity for feeling for ourselves and others. Never feel weak when you cry.

    This was such a dear friend and this death broke her heart. We must look at death as the beginning of the journey for eternal life, unless as my minister says we forget who we belong to and don't mind our P's & Q's.
