    A Letter to My Mother

    Dear mother, here i go again,
    Sitting numb with so much pain!
    I have so much to say to you,
    But do not know if you want me to.

    In many ways we are the same;
    Just that i am a little shy,
    And you are a little vain.
    I try to accommodate your every need or whim
    You accommodate nothing but meaningless fame.

    I am always there at your beck and call;
    You show no remorse for our miserable fall.
    Everything is always about you,
    You are beautiful and you are great,
    You have suffered and you have been saved.

    Though i have never loved you,
    But i think that you are the best.
    Best in being a mother
    Who really followed no other
    Just her intuition and had no regret.

    We are not the same, not in many ways;
    You keep nostalgia like a bird in a cage,
    And i move on without fearsome rage.
    Someday we will meet half way across this maze;
    Laughing at the miseries that we together have faced.
    Maybe you or may be I
    Will finally fly high.
    One more thing before i say bye,
    I have always liked you since the moment i have arrived.

    The confused pain is so visible, yet love ever present. you have certainly represented many unwilling to come forth. Well presented.

    Good poem. Very emotional. Pay attention to your "i"'s. It would be better if you capitalized them. It distracts attention from your poetry.

    very sad. i can relate to this.

    Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
