    A LITTLE LOVE.
    i’ve had a lot of sex
    for just a little love
    it’s like trying to put on a sock
    when i really needed a glove
    i’ve been stabbed in the back
    which just intensifies the pain
    though my blood is thick
    it still flows the same
    i’ve been a shoulder to cry on
    but my tears hit the ground
    while my face looks like it’s crying
    my heart doesn’t make a sound
    i’ve been a best friend
    but got a slap in the face in return
    the world keeps getting colder
    you know even ice can burn
    i’ve written hundreds of verses
    to ease a little sadness
    i use my pen like a sword
    but it only strengthens my madness
    i’ve given a lot of love
    for many days of sorrow
    and just when i’ve given up
    i wake up to a better tomorrow

    "i use my pen like a sword but it only strengthens my madness" I like this metaphor very much - this piece speaks for itself, and as I see it . . . sometimes a little LOVE just too little too late (just not enough). Well done Write ON
