A little old Lady
A little old lady with lovely white hairSits all a lone in an old armchair
Waiting and watching for family and friends
Watching from morning until the day ends
Her children have come and sat by her side
Lovingly listing as she sat and she cried
She cant remember who they all are
She doesn't know they have come from afar
She cry's for her mother who has gone long ago
In her mind she's a child this old lady she doesn't know
She's lost and she lonely in he own mind
This illness is cruel and so unkind
Her children go home she forgets that they have been
There hearts are broken from what they have seen
Early next morning it all starts again
The poor lonely lady lives in her pain
