a lost friend

a lost friend

I'm crying my eyes out.
I want to scream and shout,
but there is no one to blame.
It's all me and I hate the shame;
I'll never feel the same again.
I lost my dearest friend.
Grabbed a gun and brought the end,
no one ever truly loved him.
I'm sorry I lost you.
I'm sorry I wasn’t there.
I'm sorry I left.
I regret everything.
I'm missing you more than anything.
I wish I would have just said anything,
to let you know I did care.
I'm sore from crying,
I'm sick of trying,
I'm laying here waiting for someone to save me.
Like no one did for you.
Maybe tomorrow,
others will feel my sorrow.
I'm so hollow,
without you.
I loved you.
You were like a bro.
and so, I'll miss you forever!

Sweet Heart, this is so very touching, I truly felt your emotions. I hope this didn't really happen and that you just have one great imagination. Either way, this is a great poem. Koolmom

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
