    A Loving Mom

I could search to the ends of the earth and find none like you

You're a phenomenal woman that has a heart of gold and one I treasure as a precious jewel

When I think of my childhood, I think of all the fun things we use to do

I also remember having hard times and your touch being the one that got me through

You followed the ordinances of God when it came to raising me

No our family wasn't perfect, but you handled me perfectly

While trying to find my way, I made several mistakes

And even today I can recall all those times you corrected me along the way

I was blessed as a child and not everyone can say that

A great deal of children are bubbling with love, but have absolutely no one to love them back

I thank God because I had the greatest gift of all

    You...

    A Loving Mom

I have chills reading this wonderful poem to your mom and the honest mistakes you have made in life as you have learned from them as I have. Blessings to you and her and all that you do-say and write. http://alejabennett.net84.net

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
