    A Mess

     This world is a mess
    Are we truly blessed?
    Do we truly care?
    About anything unfair?

     Are we just to busy
    To see what’s going on
    Do we care less that
    People can’t get along

     Do we turn a blind eye
    That people everywhere are hurting
    Do we just turn our heads
    And just keep on working

     Have we lost our way
    No one knows the difference
    Of what is right and what is wrong
    Has this been going on that long

     Have we hardened our hearts
    Because it doesn’t effect us
    People sick and dying
    And we don’t make a fuss
