    I lost my childhood very early. It doesn't bother me as much as it used to but there are times that I miss it.

    A Moment

     For one single fleeting moment how wonderful it would be
          To be able to recall a simpler carefree life that now elludes me

    Long gone are the days of youthful bliss
           The thrill of young love or a summers sunset

    Too many things I have seen and too much pain has been endured
                   To be able to live a simple life like the one I lived before

    I have to agree with Summer... the past is dead... Live life to laugh and make those last...... forever in time nothing helps but to love ..... laugh and just keep going..... red...

    Seems almost like you would have written more. You're half my age, so you are youth to me. I think I can remember discovery of great summers at 24, but I wasn't married. great words to open up the mind
