A Mother Awaits

A Mother Awaits

Sweet Scenes of life
Misty blue and pink
Mingles and swirls
And in the sky links
Mauve moments delight
As the sky looks tonight

As I watch with joy
Gods wonders deploy
Birds wings swift and fast
Flying high as in the air pass
Faint moon shines through
Scarlet sky far from you

Ships horns cry alone
All at sea soon be home
Mothers await by the shore
Sons come home for ever more
No weeping day and night
The sky there map
The moon there light
No ships lost at sea
Sailor come home to me
M
