A Place On Earth

A Place On Earth

I would like to know where to go
To take the risk to explore
A place I have never been to before
Maybe to that exotic place on the coast

To that museum that exhibits fine art or
The restaurant with white chocolate fruit tart
To the club playing the best music on the chart
Even take a stroll to the park

Maybe to the mall to buy new shoes
Even take that Caribbean cruise or
Consider the salon for an eyecatching hairdo
Possibly go with friends to the zoo

Probably fly to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower
Maybe to India for yoga and some leisure
To Spain, maybe become a flamenco dancer or
Humble myself in a church and say a prayer

there is nothing, anywhere of this existence, that I would trade to be paris the heiress, how heavy a load must she wear daily, in the fishbowl of every eye ? I would find one face and wear it only, too. I could not do the aero to somewhere new, while it must be expected of some who might choose instead, to be barefoot that morning. I love your stark attention to all the pretty sights that life does shine our way... and how you focused on and found peace, and soft solace within yourself... it just doesn't get much more beautiful than finding the holy within....
