New Year- new beginning

New luck and new hope,

The past is dead and gone

Forever and for good!

I wouldn’t bring it back even if I could.

New Year-new beginning

Bring joy, laughter and love

On the wings of a white dove,

Flying high in the clear blue sky

Bring peace and harmony to the world.

New Year- new beginning

I wish to fulfill my desire-

To find love hot like burning fire

That keeps me warm inside

And to have my soul mate by my side.

New Year-new beginning

The sun, the stars are madly spinning

In an ever expanding universe

As I’m still writing this verse.

And we travel through space on spaceship Earth

From the moment of our birth

Till the last breath that we take in,

The planets, the moon continue to spin….

And we live lives of greatness and of sin,

We laugh, and we cry and sometimes we scream

And our lives are full of ups and downs

Like a rollercoaster ride through space and time

Except that this ride doesn’t cost a dime

Because life is a free gift from God

To be cherished and cannot be bought.

So, I am happy to be here

And to witness the beauty of God’s creation.

And I’m going to greet the New Year-

A time for renewal and time for celebration!
