    A Prison without walls

    Think a of prison
    With it fortified wall
    Triple steel bar
    The obtuse window
That only brings glumes of light
To it immaculate hall shine with sparkles of freedom
The armed guards with their order to kill
    Hoping for the thrill
To shoot him down as he run for hills
Now think of one with no walls
    No guard
    No obtuse windows
    And triple Steel bar
    No fortified walls
    To hinder one at all
Where every day is wreck time
Dodging that five hundreds pound Gorilla
    Which is your own mind
Finding new passage and fun trick to amuse
    Leaving the gorilla anger
    Eager to abuse
Rage where there is no release from this cage
    To no avail
    Ideas may cripple
    When ones thoughts impale
    Fight the battle
With one’s mental prey or one nemesis
    The pendulum swings each day
Through the corridors of the prison
With cruelty and benign of though
I am caught, then release again
    To play to the game
Being a prisoner in my own mind.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
