    a revealed vision of love

     a revelation of oblivious feelings did seek to posses me
    victorious through the lack of knowledge only now do i see
    love is for the divine, without material value a cherished treasure
    yet some never feel this love,desiring only a secondary pleasure
    i was seduced by lament
    reminicing the heart and soul obsessed relationship
    to bathe in sensual ecstasy to caress the soul with eternal love
    well, the unfortunate victim of this revealed vision was not yet equipped
    now love comes once to each life time
    so when this life is done,there'll be another one
    and where once conquered by the emotional tortures love did unveil
    love's greatest warrior and i once again will meet
    now baring the knowledge
    it is i who shall prevail

    Tyke - Good Job with this, I enjoyed the flow and subject ..... However, I don't agree that Love comes but once in a lifetime. I believe it can come into ones life again. That is if one is strong enough to open their heart and soul to another. This may take time, trust and courage - but ... if persistent, love will prevail.

    i agree this poem was writen after my first serious relationship ended,long ago.you know how the first cut is the deepest and toughest to heal.i'm glad i've discovered in my life that we have no say or control on love it happens to us when it chooses as often as it chooses.
