    A Sad Nation

How sad for this nation, once mighty and proud, now listless and worried with cries of anguish from the crowd.
How did this happen, a leader untried, a person of question with speeches so eloquent and smiles that lied, a leader of doubt with a wife that questions our nation’s pride.
How foolish the masses who voted for a promise and a smile, a promise soon to be found empty, and a life of grief by a gang, corrupt and vile.
How can we plan for this promise of change, what future is in store for this nation of fruited plains and the purple range.
How sad for this Christian nation that withstood for 200 years against the treats of tyranny and hate, only to be placed on a path by an elected group with a past of a Muslim faith.

Share your plight, as man resisting change is natural. But pls be broader minded

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
