    A Sea of Bitterness

All hope has vanished into nightmares haven.
And my dreams will shortly end.
I am frightened and truly bittered that I do not pretend.
On my window sill no more sits the dove.
For when all hope vanished so did the love.
I now rest on my old wooden chair.
And in the darkness there are only four words my tongue will wear.
    Death is not fair.

I feel the empty resignation in this dark piece, coming from a very lonely place...so sorry...God Bless

Ironic that death is more open minded than people. For its unbiased-ness and unfavortistic attitude cannot be contended with. Although it speaks deep words, I do sense a small edge of contentment with this piece, through the relaxing rest in the rocking chair. Well worded piece.

when did death becomes fair and honest, death always come unannounced and uninvited, a gate crusher. Right? For me this is a number one dark poetry. Lovely!

love the pic with this write. Oh my dear, there is a love that passes all understanding, you know where it is, grasp it and cling to it. this is a good write. Your despair is felt.
