    A SPRING BOUQUET FOR LOVERS

    A SPRING BOUQUET FOR LOVERS

    By Joseph J. Conte  04/17/09

Springtime arrives, and the sun awakens the earth,

Colors sprout all around us, as nature gives birth.

Daffodils dressed up in yellow, herald a new year,

Variegated Tulips, bright pinks, and reds, also appear.

Cherry blossoms, add a soft pink color, swirling in the air,

While bushes and trees, are budding, their new spring wear.

Red breasted Robins and tiny yellow finches, dart through the air,

As Cardinals in their red finery, fly closely together, always as a pair.

Humming Birds buzz sapping sweet nectar, while suspended in air,

From roses, carnations, and the many flowers with sugar to spare.

Lovers hold hands, as they walk through the park, or sit in the grass,

Running through the rain, looking for shelter, until the showers pass.

Spring, a time of renewal for lovers, a time to rekindle love's fire,

With a touch, a hug and a kiss, they open their cloaks of desire.

Spring has so much to offer to lovers, as nature reveals its colorful painting,

Painting flowers, trees, birds, and more, to stimulate each lover's mating.

The birds, bees, animals, and humans, are stimulated by nature's changes,

In a Spring Bouquet for Lover's, that each year, nature beautifully arranges.
