a time for good-byes
even though you left us behind,
you will always be on my mind.
you gave us all your kindness and love
so now it's time for your soul to fly like a dove.
when i start to feel blue,
i'll just think of you!
and when i start to feel sad,
i'll remember all the great times we had!
there will always be a place in my heart
especially for you!
you played a big part
in raising me too!
i'm glad you're in heaven and suffering no pain,
i now realize i have nothing to lose but everything to gain.
there isn't any room for sorrow
because what lies here today, will lie here tomorrow!
