     A Valley Rose

    In a valley the wild rose grows, it is a rare rose the valley people know.
    Rainbow colors and thorny vines it climbs the fences and circles the pines.
    It is the last bloom you will find.  You will not possess its flawless kind.
    Come to witness the opening bud, it reaches for the light, a gentle rose that blesses sight.

    What flowers sway in peaceful days where Nature so softly plays, the petals fall releasing a scent
    A piece of beauty so well spent.
    A rain of warm waters wash away the pedals from where they lay. Raindrops sweet caress has filled
    Our Makers glass. Rare roses of the vine I watch your beauty shine. 

    Birds sit in trees and dine to the treasures of the time.
    Walk this valley of the rose and the warmth of solitude will grow.
    The winds of winter begin to stir in the land, pleasantries occur
    The surrender of the land rests softly in Gods mighty hand.
    The valley soulfully stands in His gracious plan.
