    A WALK

As I go on my daily walk.
I take in what I can.
The sights, the sounds, the smells
I try to keep calm with all
    that's around me.

    I walk and walk
    but never get tired.
    I walk barefoot
    but they never hurt.

    It's time to go now
    so I walk toward home.
I'm still excited from my walk.

    I go in the house
    stretch out on the couch.
My owner gives me a treat
and pets me on the head.
