  • I've been gone for quit some time but I'm back and ready to write more poetry.

A Womans Tear

One day a little boy came home from school,
he saw his mother in the kitchen crying,
this baffled him so decided that he was
going to find out why women cry.

Later that night he st down with his father,
he said "Dad why do women cry?"
His dad sat and thought for awhile,
he said "You know son i'm not sure."
he thought and though
finally he said "Maybe you should call God."

The little boy called God and asked
"God why do women cry?"
God said to the little boy,
"My child you are to young to understand,
when you are older I will tell you why women cry."

Years went by yet that little boy never stoped
wondering why women cry,
one night his phone rang,
it was God, and God said to him,
"My son do you remember when you were a little boy
and you asked why women cry?
Well I feel your old enough now to understand."

God countued many years ago when I created man,
I relized women were diffrent,
they were gentail and kind, maybe a little weaker,
so I decided they need somethin just one thing,
so i gave them a tear to do with as the please.

I saw this and it was good,
for after a long day of worry and up all night
she could sit down and weep.
When she cries she cries for the world,
The war and pain
the child that has his mom and dad,
the souls that are lost and trying to be found,
the parents who sit in empty room where their child use to sleep.

She cries for the children that will go to bed hungery tonight,
For the people who only know how to fight.
When she finishes nothing much may have changed,
but she feels bette and knows that somewhere,
someone herd her cry and for tonight they are at peace.

This my son is why women cry....

Wow! that was deep. A womans tears speak for the world yet the most beautiful ones are of happiness. It's comforting. I love this one and thank you for your comment
