    Poem Commentary

This didn't happen(an abortion), but when she thought she was pregnant she wanted to murder our possible baby, I was in a state of shock over what I was hearing from her and I was furious; as I tried to talk her out of it. Thankfully she was just late on her....

    Abortion

This isn’t about you or me

    It’s about an innocent life

    Our life

    We made it in passion

We use to utter the words

    I Love you

    But on this day

    You decided

    To take that life

    And truly break my Heart

    It didn’t have a chance

You condemned our little bundle of joy

    To internal darkness

You let your fear and stress

    Take control of your judgment

    Turning you into

    The Executioner

    Killing my…

    Our…

    Baby

I can’t look at you anymore

I’m sorry I just can’t do this anymore

I can’t bear the sight of you

I can’t believe you did it

You took the easy way out

I can’t be there for you after the murder

    I said before and after

    You’d feel guilty

    I won’t wipe your tears

For this great crime committed against life

    You’re on your own

    You earned your guilt

I’m turning my back on you

    Like you did our baby

I can’t hold back the tears

I thought I knew the meaning of the word

    Pain

But until you lose a child

    You haven’t the slightest clue

Of the meaning of the word

    Pain

This is an interesting piece only for it subject matter, and the way it call the reader to be judge and jury. It shocks me that so many of those who oppose abortion do not oppose war, or oppose guns they end far more lives than abortion. I will have to ponder on that some more. Very interesting write!!!!!!

I was in war-support war, and I support weapons-weapons don't kill, humans do.

If that is the case you do not have a problem with abortion, it becomes a problem with womens rights. There right to an abortion is the same as your right to vote or own a gun, I hope you do not think the government should be able to take those rights away from you.

I wrote a poem like this 20 years ago. was the proud father of three wonderful children. They may not be as wonderful as I had hoped for, but I'm happy their mother carried them all to term. It's a life, not a choice.

I think a woman who can think like that is heartless and doesn't love anyone n never will. I was pregnant with my first son at 18 and before I even told my boyfriend then and husband now (of 25yrs), I had already decided no matter what happened I was keeping my baby. I was scared n worried n frightened my mother would beat me too . Anyways I could have never imagined destroying an innocent baby whom has no fault nor asked to be made. There's lots of ppl in this life who can't have babies and want one badly n others who don't deserve one at all.

she was very Heartless and more over worthless, no regrets in closing her out. Thanks for the feed back!!!

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
