    up the ladder
    in waring governments -
    discussions such
    as this must
    occur:

    " the people will
    not tolerate large
    casualities
    in one incident. we must 
    be sure to keep the casualty count
    low or we will lose the support
    of the people -
    . we just can't have
    the front page of every daily paper
    and internet news site declaring
    200 die in battle for ----------,
    we just can't have that.
    the last thing we want is
    people taking to the streets
    against these wars" we must be
    very careful"

    Poet, I can see the officials sitting around trying to cover up another tragedy, skew another horrific incident. You put this well in language that makes an impact. In response to studly I am in the middle of Orwell's novel 1984, presently and that is a great read. ginga
