©2010 Walked in your shoes (I'll keep faith in You)
Since she died, you found "true" love
you think her sent from God above
but every one else begs to differ.
Blinded by your lonleliness
truth causing you so much stress
escape you need so you run to her.
I remember not so long ago
I was there stuck at go
held back by one that meant harm.
I too could not see
what was plain as plain can be
diverted by foulness disguised as charm.
I lived under a spell
I was just a tree to be felled
profit for her later comfort.
Nothing we could try to say
could change you or sway
you from that wicked sort.
All we can do is not let it steal our joy
though it hurts us to see you her toy
love is all we now can give.
We can be the beacons that you need
to help you find love and not greed
live our lives, hoping you want the love love gives.
