Akouo enema Mougkrizo

how do we get through
all these trials of tribulations
in a man made world
what does a woman have to do
to get some respect from you
we give all our love and devotion
to recieve destruction
with the beating and the lies
why oh why
cant you confide in me
treat me as your equal
can you not see
we are equal underneath
instead of saying i just bitch
why dont you just sit and listen to this
i am woman
strong at heart
peaceful and quiet as the wind
but can be loud and proud
hear me roar for i do not need no man
i have my own game plan
yes i love you and want you by my side
but if you cant do right
then its time to say goodbye
i am woman
be proud that i am yours
hold me tight in your arms
for any time i can be gone...
How do we get through
all these trials and tribulations
in this man made World,
What does a Woman have to do
to get respect from you,
We give all our love and devotion
to receive destruction,
With all the beatings and lies
why oh why
Cant you Confide in me,
treat me as your Equal
Not just someone on the street
can you not see
We are but equal underneath,
instead of saying I just bitch
Why don't you listen to this,
I am a Woman
Strong at heart,
peaceful and quiet as the wind
Yet loud and proud,
hear me Roar
for I do not need no man
I have my own game plan,
Yes I love you and want you by my side
but if you cant do right
Then it's time for Goodbye,
I am a Woman
Hear me Roar
be proud I'm yours
Hold me tight in your arms,
for anytime I can be Gone...

Yes a beautiful poem , says everything about a women's rights. everybody should remember that women are our mothers, sisters or wives. they got a soul and need to be treated with respect and honour. they are not merely objects to be enjoyed and discarded. a 10 from me. the words i expressed was a speech for a girl i wrote - women's rights in Islam. thank you.

Well said beautifully written a 10 from me. If you find time check out "Spiritual Remembrance" and Sands of Time.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
