All that is Good
When one man believes in helping humanity heal itself, can only one man help with this?
When the end comes for us, who will still believe in all that is good?
I still believe that good lies in us,
but if humanity doesnt believe in it;
what will make them see it again?
Will it be sacrifice on ones nation?
Will it be ten million plus one extra body on one's utopia?
If man kind no longer believes in salvation;
then my body will be the last on the darkened utopia.
The woman tries to stop me,
she holds a gun in front of me.
I ask her "why don't you pull the trigger?"
Tears fall from her eyes, but she doesnt answer me.
I ask her "what are you waiting for?"
I request to her in a whisper "do it."
More tears fall from her eyes,
I yell "DO IT!"
I felt the bullet rip through my flesh, my body fell the the ground ice cold.
This must be what death feels like.
When the end comes for us, who will still believe in all that is good?
I still believe that good lies in us,
but if humanity doesnt believe in it;
what will make them see it again?
Will it be sacrifice on ones nation?
Will it be ten million plus one extra body on one's utopia?
If man kind no longer believes in salvation;
then my body will be the last on the darkened utopia.
