    All that's left

     I take a step back and look at my past
      And all that's left are memories both good and bad
    After the pictures have faded I'm left with empty frames
      Nuthing phenomenal accomplished and noone left to blame
    Looking in the mirror I see a reflection of what I became
      Hopeless and sadened that little has changed
    Before, regret was not an option, you only live once so why not to the fullest
      But now that I am older and wiser I can see that I was foolish
    Pity party for one, the friends I thought I had are gone
      I have no one to turn to, what a sad burden to be carried by one
    I turn my eyes to heaven as a last resort
      After finally realizing this to be the right recourse
    I yelled to God "help me I need to be blessed
      I'm sorry i've abandoned you, you're all I have left"
