    Poem Commentary

    Friendship is a gift that can be broken if not treasured 

    All You Do

     Unlock the mysteries inside of me
    Take my heart an set it free
    Break the spell that I am under
    Read my thoughts and all I wonder
    Reach inside and feel my soul
    Take my love, make me whole
    Fill the emptiness inside
    Where long ago my feelings died
    Wake me from this lonesome slumber
    Don't let me drown, I am going under
    Let me breath the air so sweet
    Help me stand on my own two feet
    Rescue me, I am beginning to fall
    Tell me I can handle it all
    Be by my side when I am alone
    Feel my pain if I should moan
    Wipe my tears if they should flow
    Hold me tight, don't let me go
    Be there for me, don't hesitate
    Hear my call, don't be late
    Share with me all you know
    Help me live, help me grow
    Be my friend in all you do
    And I will do the same for you

    Nice read and I especially liked the slow-paced beat which allowed me to savor and look inside myself; surely I thought I have been there too, and survived. Survived because my friend allowed me to 'be'....... Now, I try to remember the name of the friend.......an innervoice whispers: "maybe it was you".

    This is the definition of unconditional love. I could not decide if you were talking about a lover or a friend but I guess it would just be LOVE and it would not matter.
