    Alone I'll Be

Alone I see the things that never were,
And alone I'll be for the things I never said.
My heart stays empty wanting what it misses,
My heart stays dear to each and every tear.
The love that was once so stong and real,
Has left me alone for me to deal.
And alone I'll be for the things I never said.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
