    Alone

The fog is covering the ground like a big thick blanket. It filled the
air up with its misty odor. I couldn't really see in front of me.
I felt like I was alone, trapped in my own mind, just wondering in the dark. The only guide of light that helped me, was the moon. And the moon itself alone isn't enough. The moon gets covered and passes away.
Im afraid of using my hands, and feet to find where I'm at. I don't want to die by theunknown. So I just sit in wonder, and waiting for someone to reach out an arm for me.
I sit, and I sit in that very same spot. Not moving an inch, cause I'm to afraid of what well happen. Day Passes by time, and time again. I start showing signs of bones. Soon enough I was nothing but dust. But still no one came............................

Very nice metaphor for what I assume is an emotional state of being. Sad too that no one came. Sometimss you have to take a chance and reach out beyond the fog or even call out for someone to know you are there. And maybe you've already done that. A beautiful, poignant poem.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
