    Always Gone

When the weekend is here he is home
Then the week comes and I am alone

My days go by so slow anymore
It feels like I am crashing to the floor

He is never home, he is always gone
I am alone all week long

The silence is driving me insane
My tears pour like the rain

I try to sleep away the day
But I miss him when he is away

I really like this poem. Your poems are honest, to the point, and very "readible". I understand your pain and you convey it well. Great job!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
