is suppose to be the land of freedom, but are we really free?
they say we have the right to freedom of speech
but everyone knows the government always speaks
never about the truth or the truth or the real issues
when all the time we the people are the issues
is suppose to be where everyone wants to be
but deep down I think its the reason why i'm me
and I never want to change just to be free
because i'm stronger than the man will ever be
and one dayi'm gone make my mom and dad proud of me
because they gave birth to Sha'Tarsha Nichole Williams........... that's me
there are so many hopes and dreams but I know America is really not what it seems
instead of so much hatered we need to love one another
instead of fussing, fighting, and killing each other
what we need in this world is unity and peace
and to end my poem i'm gone say " Peace"
