An Outside Dream

Poem Commentary

This is to the dreamer in life this time. The only way to read through the lonely times is to dream. Someway to get ourselves through. I thank you all for reading this.

An Outside Dream

Sitting and wondering,
Along the only road,
This is where I,
Only go to,
After the affect of life,
At its best is,
Nevertheless my dream,
Now a dreamer,
All dreamed out, cloudy,
The mist fits in,
My dream so big!

Nice imagery, I must say. I like the different "painting" you drew, it's something I do myself, I always find it comes out nicely. I like the dreamlike state your poem has. All in all, I believe your feelings came across beautifully. It did seem just a little confusing, but, then again, many of my own are most likely confusing, so, judge not lest I be judged myself, LOL. But, seriously, though, nicely written. Nicely structured. Good job =)

Hey thatks for the comment.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
