    And So We Divide...

    I watched as you watched me

    From afar I thought I could see

    A glimmer of hope

    But you turned away

    Without a backwards glance my way

    Not even a "hey."

     

    And so we divide...

     

    Like  a chain that's been broken

    Never again to be connected

     

    And so we divide...

     

    Never talking.

    Never laughing.

    Never once more sharing in an intimate moment of intense silence.

     

    And so we divide...

     

    You had other plans at bay

    While, I must stay

     

    And so we divide..

    So, good-bye my love

    I can not wait for you

     

    And so we divide...

    No more hugs.

    No more kisses.

    No more  smelling of your sweet cologne

     

    And so we divide...
