And You?

And You?

Do you love me as you should?
Truly, deeply, remarkably.
Is my face the only one your heart sees?
Shouting, echoing in the chasm of creation?
Looking over your shoulder, does my presence follow your every move?
Am I there, even in your dreams?
Tossing and turning, do my eyes comfort you?
Is there a choice for you?  Was there ever?
Will you remember every happy moment I've given to you always?
Can you?
Will I face forever with you by my side, or are you but a figment of an imagination that soars too far?
Maybe too far.

It settles every insecurity we could possibly have just knowing the one we care about most, cares most about us as well... Everything good comes from that, and everything bad comes if it's a one way street... Good write...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
