    angel
    it started with a wink.
    then with a nod.
    next thing you know .
    we got a gift from god .
    a precious child we both loved so.when i looked away.
    you ran off another way.
    it broke my heart .
    as if you did not know.you
    you left me with a precious gift from god.
    if you never come back.
    you will never know ?
    what it is like to cherish.
    this gift from god.

    Heavy duty. Well wrote. I like the wink and nod beginning...then the ryhme of "..gift from god. " very nice.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
